As with facial acne, pimples in the back are the result of excessive production of sebum by the sebaceous glands,  often due to hormonal imbalance or poor diet. The skin of the back being thicker than in the rest of the body, the acne pimples which lodge there often do more damage, because they are deeper in the dermis.

Acne, who are you? Where do you come from?

Acne is a chronic inflammatory disease that causes breakouts, especially on the face, shoulders, chest, back, or arms. Our skin is made up of small pores connected to our sebaceous glands.

These secrete an oily liquid, called sebum, which is responsible for transporting dead cells to the surface of the skin through our follicles. Everything is going well… until it “gets stuck”! Yes, the excess sebum in the follicles clogs up all this little world, then attacked by bacteria that proliferate there start to cause inflammation … and to “ignite” us!

Mix everything until you get a homogeneous paste, then apply it to your back in circular movements. Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water.

Oats have soothing properties for the skin. This cereal is rich in magnesium, manganese, zinc, phosphorus, and selenium, as well as vitamins B1, B2, and B6. The ideal cocktail for soft and invigorated skin.

Sugar, on the other hand, is your ally of choice for exfoliating your skin. Promoting cell renewal, it stimulates blood microcirculation, it restores radiance to your skin.

Acne and self-esteem, what consequences?

Small skin concerns sometimes go beyond the simple aesthetic aspect and can play a decisive role in the image that a person has of himself. Source of complexes from adolescence, acne does not however spare the elderly.

One of the causes of the appearance of acne in adults is stress.  The body, this formidable machine so well established, reacts to stress by releasing various hormones (cortisol), neuropeptides (endorphin, insulin), and inflammatory cytokines (small proteins that cause inflammation). These substances disrupt the proper functioning of the sebaceous glands, and hello the damage!

The consequences of this unfortunate rash on self-esteem are undeniable, the person who suffers from it is unattractive and this can cause a problem of self-confidence.

Besides the problem of inflammation, there is the problem of scars. But don’t panic, because thanks to certain natural remedies or in the most severe cases to new technologies such as peels and other revolutionary techniques, everyone can now afford a new start … and throw this nasty spotty memory away.
