A natural remedy to restore your gray hair to its previous color

To have beautiful long, strong, and shiny hair is a wish undoubtedly shared by all. Unfortunately, many suffer from hair loss, gray hair or split ends… But let’s see what can cause these problems and how we could overcome them!

The natural process of change

The appearance of white hair, also called canities, occurs when the melanocytes, cells responsible for the color of the hair, stop secreting melanin.

For example, blond hair is, since melanocytes produce little melanin, unlike black hair which is the result of a significant secretion of the latter.

When the amount of this substance is used up, the hair turns white. And this is where we must stop on a very important point that is the name “gray hair”. Although often used, this is irrelevant, as the color is more white than gray, and “salt and pepper” hair is most often the result of a mixture of white and colored hair.

What can give your hair this color

For the moment, we cannot define a precise cause of canities, since so far there is no consensus in the scientific community on the slightest fact on this subject. However, what remains certain is that the hereditary factor plays a determining role in this process.

Stress or other trauma can speed up the appearance of gray hair, although experts are not sure how much this can influence the likelihood of having it. But anyway, very few are those who avoid this phenomenon. Nevertheless, there are natural ways to improve the health of the hair and restore its natural color.

A natural mask to strengthen your hair and make it more beautiful

  • 3 cm of ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Ginger root is very rich in phosphorus, vitamins, potassium as well as magnesium, which has the advantage of giving the hair follicles the necessary nutrients to stay healthy and prevent hair loss. It also has antimicrobial properties to help control dandruff development and restore moisture. Ginger also has the merit of helping in hair growth.

Raw honey is wonderful when it comes to restoring dull hair to its shine, thanks to the enzymes and nutrients it contains, as it helps moisturize dry hair, thanks to its ability to retain water molecules.
